Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Principal Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and planning of utilities infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater networks, stormwater systems, and utility coordination.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the design and planning of complex engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Identify innovative solutions for challenging engineering problems.
  • Lead project teams as the Project Engineer for medium to large-scale projects.
  • Provide technical expertise for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses.
  • Develop and implement new technologies and software tools, such as Civil3D, Sewer Gems, Water Gems, AutoCAD, and BIM.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project results.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • At least 12 years of professional experience in utilities infrastructure projects.
  • Strong proficiency in using software like AutoCAD, Civil3D, and BIM.
  • Experience in the Construction industry is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
