Bridge Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bridge Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking assessments of existing bridges, preparing assessment reports, and conducting feasibility studies for strengthening and repair.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Steel Composite, Pretension/Posttension structures and be proficient in design and assessment checks (Cat II or Cat III) under the guidance of a Senior or Principal Engineer.
This role involves preparing new bridge designs and strengthening designs to UK standards, ensuring compliance with appropriate design and health and safety standards and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for producing work to specified design standards, suggesting revisions as necessary, and ensuring all relevant standards and guides are used in accordance with UK Design standards.
You will also be expected to utilize WSP calculation templates, ensure calculation sheets comply with WSP standards, and use the WSP Technical library and Information systems to assist with design work.
Furthermore, this role requires you to continually strive to develop and increase skills in computer-aided design software such as MIDAS, LUSAS, Superstress, SAM, ARCHIE, and others.
