Job Title: General Manager SCM Finance

The Supply Chain Strategist will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and decision support for the Supply Chain function. This role requires a highly analytical finance professional with hands-on experience in manufacturing, logistics, and 3PL environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with SCM, logistics & procurement teams to evaluate and structure cost-effective initiatives and vendor negotiations.
  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across logistics, inventory & fulfilment.
  • Track key metrics like cost/shipment, delivery accuracy, and warehouse costs.
  • Drive end-to-end cost analysis, 3PL evaluations, and warehouse strategy through robust financial models.
  • Monitor inventory health, improve turnover ratios, and reduce stock-outs and write-offs.
  • Evaluate ROI on investments (e.g., automation, platforms), and identify cost-saving opportunities through data analytics.
  • Deliver timely dashboards and insights.

Qualifications:

  • 4–5+ years in SCM finance or business finance roles involving supply chain oversight.
  • Experience in cost reduction initiatives with measurable savings.
  • Ability to analyze and improve supply chain efficiencies through financial levers.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling for supply chain and procurement.
  • Experience with working capital management and operational KPIs.
  • Ability to apply AI tools for faster and accurate reporting.
  • Proficiency in building cost models and scenario analysis for sourcing and logistics.
