Job Title:

Auditing Telecom Network Architectures

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled telecom network auditor with expertise in technical auditing, risk assessment, and compliance management.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of telecom network technologies, including 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G, as well as transmission technologies (Microwave, FTTH, DWDM), and core networks (Circuit-Switched and Packet-Switched).
  • The role involves conducting audits of telecom network elements, identifying and evaluating risks associated with telecom network operations, and proposing effective mitigation strategies and controls.
  • You will also be responsible for recommending improvements to telecom network processes, methodologies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and minimize operational risks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, security professionals, and compliance officers, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Able to prepare detailed reports for stakeholders and management highlighting key audit outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits of telecom network elements to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Identify and evaluate risks associated with telecom network operations and propose effective mitigation strategies and controls.
  • Recommend improvements to telecom network processes, methodologies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and minimize operational risks.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of audit findings, observations, and recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders and management highlighting key audit outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in telecommunications, computer science, or a related field is preferred. MBA from premium colleges will be plus.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in related field (Network Planning, Design or Operation), preferable in internal audit, Consulting, advisory, professional services and/or Industry.
  • Proven track record in conducting internal audits within telecommunications or networking environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate audit findings, prepare detailed reports, and effectively communicate with stakeholders and management.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), or equivalent certifications would be advantageous.
