Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team based in Hyderabad.

The role involves supporting various functions, including Compliance, Counterparty Relationship Management, and Tax. This includes conducting research on firm positions and applicable regulations using advanced data analytics and data visualization techniques.

  • Support one or more functions, providing compliance expertise and regulatory knowledge.
  • Conduct thorough research on firm positions and applicable regulations for each asset class across jurisdictions.
  • Perform regulatory filing obligations requiring complex quantitative and qualitative analysis of firm short position and long ownership reports.
  • Assist in monitoring and implementing controls designed to ensure compliance with global regulations.
  • Collect and analyze fundamental research data to avoid potential trading while in possession of material non-public information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Analyze financial products and their tax treatment.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless infrastructure for calculating, reviewing, and reporting commissions and financing costs.
  • Generate actionable insights from data analysis to inform adjustments in firm counterparty relationships.

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountancy degree with CAInter/IPCC cleared in first or second attempt.
  • Completed a minimum of one year of articleship experience.
  • Ability to uphold high standards, analyze rigorously, communicate clearly and concisely.
