As a future member of our RCAT Compliance Testing team (Americas), you will be based in Pune or Chennai and work in a hybrid environment. In this role, you will support the Compliance Testing Manager in scoping and executing the Annual Compliance Testing program. You will also contribute to timely execution of Americas Compliance Testing reviews of business activities, ensuring adherence to global laws, rules, and regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Compliance Testing Manager in scoping and execution of the Annual Compliance Testing program
  • Contributing to the timely execution of Americas Compliance Testing reviews of business activities in accordance with Global Compliance Testing Manual methodology
  • Tracking and completing outstanding Compliance Testing actions
  • Participating in Compliance, Compliance Testing, and business meetings
  • Liaising between Business Compliance Officers, Compliance Testing, and BNY businesses
  • Contributing to assigned ad hoc Compliance/Compliance Testing related projects

To succeed in this role, we are seeking individuals with the following qualifications:

  • A minimum graduate degree, with professional certifications such as CPA, Chartered Accountant, CIA, or FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam preferred
  • Minimum 2-4 years of industry experience, with 2 years of Compliance, testing, and/or audit experience
  • Strong knowledge of the financial services regulatory environment
  • Excellent computer and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
  • Good report writing and presentation skills
  • Good analytical skills capable of identifying, collating, and distilling relevant information
  • Focused attitude with ability to meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail
  • Superior interpersonal and communication, and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge and awareness of compliance laws, rules, regulations, risk, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
