Penta Consulting, a leading technology resource solutions provider, is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a D365 POS Functional Consultant. This 9-month initial contract offers an opportunity for extension and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth functional workshops to gather and analyze business requirements related to retail operations and POS systems.
  • Customize and configure D365 Commerce POS modules to meet client needs, ensuring seamless integration with other modules.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver end-to-end support during implementation phases, including UAT, training, and go-live.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve POS-related issues post-deployment, staying up-to-date on Microsoft's roadmap for D365 Commerce.
  • Support data migration and testing activities, working closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce / Retail, with hands-on expertise in D365 POS (Modern POS, Cloud POS, Store Commerce).
  • Strong understanding of retail business processes, including sales, inventory, promotions, and customer management.
  • Experience with lifecycle services (LCS), Azure DevOps, and D365 configuration tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Microsoft certifications in D365 Commerce or related modules are preferred.
