Resource Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient allocation and utilization of resources across multiple projects and departments.

  • This includes monitoring and managing resource utilization, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with department leads to identify current and future staffing needs.
  • You will also be responsible for forecasting resource demand, resolving conflicts, and preparing reports on resource availability, usage, and performance metrics.

In addition, you will facilitate the onboarding and offboarding of project resources and communicate regularly with project managers to understand staffing and capacity challenges.

To succeed in this role, you must have strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and resource management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, SAP, MS Project, D365).

  • Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in resource management is required, along with the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
