Job Title: Process Excellence Manager

The Regional Business Process Manager is responsible for leading initiatives to harmonize business processes, optimize target operating models, and enhance operational efficiencies across the region. This role drives continuous improvement through effective technology deployment, establishing a high-performance agency network, and leading regional improvement projects.

• Key Responsibilities:

Harmonized Processes & Target Operating Models:

• Implement harmonized processes across the region for a standardized approach to operations. Collaborate with Regional Business Owner teams to review target operating models enhancing efficiency and operational effectiveness. Continuously assess and refine these models ensuring alignment with regional requirements. Bring regional process specificities and requirements to HQ.

Effective Technology Deployment:

• Help agencies identify and prioritize automation opportunities reducing manual processes and operational redundancies. Liaise between Regional agencies promoting best practice sharing

High-Performance Agency Network Management:

• Develop a high-performance mindset within regional agencies. Monitor and coach QPMs improving agency performance across the region. Drive initiatives encouraging best practices sharing, performance benchmarking, and continuous improvement within agency networks

Regional Improvement Projects:

• Lead regional improvement projects focusing on operational waste reduction, simplification, and efficiency gains. Conduct regular assessments uncovering opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and simplification across various functions. Engage stakeholders across the region driving a culture of continuous improvement ensuring project goals alignment.

Regional Deployments:

• Deploy Target Operating models minimizing exceptions and managing Country Manager expectations. Deploy new tools and processes in the region monitor implementation and project adoption before handover to Business units

Project Management & HQ Contribution:

• Participate in HQ global projects working closely with HQ BEX team and external teams for effective project implementation. Act as a focal point for the region providing regional specifics and process needs. Collaborate and assist Agencies during GBS transition projects

Implementation of New Clusters or Agencies:

• Lead the setup and implementation of new regional clusters or agencies aligning with business standards and operational targets. Provide guidance on standard operating procedures, resource allocation, and technology requirements establishing a solid foundation for new entities. Ensure smooth integration and adherence to the target operating model

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:

• Degree in Maritime Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain, or business management.

Experience:

• At least 3 years of managerial experience in project management and/or business process improvement.

Skills:

• Certification in LEAN Six Sigma, Project Management advantageous
• Strategic Vision: Ability to see the big picture aligning operational processes with strategic business goals.
• Change Management: Skilled in managing change effectively driving the adoption of new processes and technologies.
• Technology Acumen: Knowledgeable about new and emerging technologies identifying and deploying relevant tools for process improvement.
• Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proactive in identifying opportunities to reduce waste automate tasks, and simplify workflows (Lean and Six Sigma knowledge).
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills evaluating data assessing performance informing process optimizations.
