Senior Operations Manager

This is a challenging role for an experienced professional seeking to drive business excellence in manufacturing operations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead the implementation of Manufacturing Excellence (ManEx) practices across the site, ensuring alignment between all departments and driving performance improvement.

The role involves setting objectives and priorities, leading change management processes, and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve world-class performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive the implementation of the site ManEx master plan for IMFL packaging hall & departmental level.
  • Set objectives and priorities and lead the change management processes for the department.
  • Maintain alignment between all parts of the site's supply chain by coordinating all departments to work together in ManEx deployment.
  • Lead and support all departments in implementing MMS practices to meet their broad plans.
  • Cause managers to develop teams at all levels to produce performance results through the ManEx practices.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate Managerial leadership to develop team against role capabilities.
  • Evaluate effective implementation of ManEx training & development programmes by aligning site/line management.
  • Coordinate ManEx TOT and evaluation programmes to maintain consistency of approach and ensure alignment with Diageo Capability programme.
  • Promote Pert loss & waste leadership and coaching to operational teams.
  • Participate in and lead as required improvement projects using the DMAIC methodology.
  • Engage with Daily Operational Review meetings to provide expert analysis of performance improvement opportunities.
