Job Description

A Semiconductor Test Engineer plays a vital role in defining manufacturing test flows and methodologies for ASIC/SoC devices to meet customer and quality requirements. They work closely with cross-functional R&D teams to finalize test requirements for each phase of production and ensure that products meet the highest standards of performance, functionality, and safety.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining complex test procedures for ASIC/SoC devices.
  • Collaborating with designers, engineers, and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to product yield, test time, and DPPM (Defective Parts Per Million).
  • Providing technical expertise on IC test methodologies, system testing, and communication protocols such as USB, UART, PCIe, I2C, I2S, DDR, etc.
  • Designing and implementing new test fixtures and equipment to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Conducting regular training sessions for team members to enhance their knowledge and skills in semiconductor testing.
  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing processes and increase efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor testing and development.
  • Hands-on experience with Lab Equipment (Testers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Logic Analyzers).
  • Knowledge of software programs written in C, C++, C# and ability to debug code.
  • Good understanding of operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
