Test Engineering Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled test engineer to join our product team. As a critical member of the team, you will ensure the delivery of seamless and impactful experiences for users across industries.

Your role will involve expertise in manual testing, test case writing, API testing, and automation. You will be responsible for executing structured manual tests, writing clear and reusable test cases, and validating functionality across multiple user roles.

You will also design, execute, and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks for core workflows, strengthen API stability by performing thorough API testing, and collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and designers to embed quality into every phase of the product lifecycle.

In addition, you will enhance release confidence by driving test coverage, regression testing, and continuous improvement of QA processes.

Deliverables will include well-documented test plans, test cases, and bug reports aligned with product requirements and user stories, as well as comprehensive manual test coverage for new features, regression cycles, and multi-role workflows.

  • Strong proficiency in manual testing and test case writing.
  • Experience testing web and mobile applications with multiple user roles.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, REST, GraphQL, etc.).
  • Familiarity with or experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to reproduce and document complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in agile, cross-functional teams.
