Senior Financial Management Professional

The role of a Senior Financial Management Professional encompasses overseeing daily financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and related compliance. General ledger management is also part of this responsibility.

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Closely monitor cash flow, investments, and forecasting to ensure optimal financial outcomes.
  • Manage budgeting processes, providing support for cross-functional departmental budget planning and coordination.

Accounting & Compliance

The Accounting & Compliance function ensures adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and local tax regulations, maintaining the integrity of our financial records.

  • Timely and accurate filing of all GST returns is ensured through diligent efforts.
  • GST audits, assessments, and departmental notices are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Timely and accurate filing of income tax returns is maintained through thorough compliance.
  • Statutory, tax audits, assessments, and responses are managed within given timeframes, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • A strong knowledge of transfer pricing compliance and documentation is maintained.
  • Timely and accurate filing of forms and returns with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs is ensured.
  • Timely and accurate filing with RBI is also maintained.
  • Maintenance of documentation and records for all FEMA-related transactions is crucial.
  • Internal and external audits are coordinated to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Accurate and up-to-date accounting records are maintained to reflect the company's financial health.
  • Implementation and monitoring of internal controls safeguard company assets, preventing potential risks.

Financial Insights & Analysis

The Financial Insights & Analysis role provides critical financial data and insights to support strategic decision-making, driving business growth and success.

  • Collaboration with senior management on financial planning and risk management ensures aligned strategies.
  • Evaluation of financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts identifies areas for improvement.
  • Ad hoc projects and analysis as needed provide additional value to the organization.

Team Leadership & Development

The Team Leadership & Development function supervises and mentors accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

  • Ensuring continuous improvement in financial processes and systems supports efficient operations.
  • Training staff on financial systems and compliance requirements enhances their skillset and job satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • 10-15 years of experience in financial management and accounting are essential.
  • A strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards is necessary.
  • Proficiency in financial software, particularly Excel, is required for effective data analysis.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills enable accurate and insightful financial reporting.
