Key Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Retail Concept Designer to spearhead the creation of original retail design concepts.

This role is focused on designing physical retail stores, requiring exceptional creative energy and a strong conceptual mindset.

The successful candidate will have experience working with diverse brands, ideally within a retail design agency or consultancy environment.

Responsibilities include spearheading concept creation, developing mood boards, customer journeys, and schematic layouts, as well as presenting creative concepts clearly and persuasively.

  • Spearhead the creation of original retail design concepts from brand immersion to spatial storytelling.
  • Develop mood boards, customer journeys, and schematic layouts that bring brands to life.
  • Translate strategy into engaging, multi-sensory retail environments balancing aesthetics and functionality.
  • Present creative concepts clearly and persuasively to internal teams and clients.
  • Mentor junior designers on design intent and creative execution.
  • Collaborate with graphic, VM, and technical teams to ensure holistic delivery of the vision.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in original retail concept design roles.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity in spatial retail design.
  • Skills in 3D visualization, space planning, and storytelling through design.
  • Confident communication skills, able to present and defend design rationale.
