Job Title: Financial Operations Associate

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Associate to manage key financial functions, ensure compliance, and provide valuable insights to support our growth.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations in accordance with established accounting principles.
  • Collaborate on budgets and forecasts to monitor performance and recommend cost optimizations.
  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable, including vendor management and collections, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Ensure tax compliance and assist in preparing tax returns in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits, addressing queries and implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Continuously review processes for improvement and efficiency to enhance overall financial operations.
  • Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to manage financial data effectively and make informed decisions.
  • Stay updated on accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and optimal financial performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA Inter certification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance with proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho, Tally).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial data, perform account reconciliations, and ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business growth.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and minimizing bad debt.
  • Maintain compliance with tax laws and regulations, and prepare tax returns as required.
  • Support audit activities, address queries, and implement process improvements.
