Cyber Security Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of cybersecurity projects and services, working directly with key business stakeholders and technology SMEs.

This role involves providing cybersecurity support for network security products and services, including new deployments, hardware refresh/upgrades, migrations, and feature implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and support the delivery of cybersecurity projects and services, working directly with key business stakeholders and technology SMEs.
  2. Provide cybersecurity support for network security products and services, including new deployments, hardware refresh/upgrades, migrations, and feature implementation.
  3. Manage key accounts/customers from a cybersecurity service perspective.
  4. Support the implementation of security concerns with new and emerging technologies, with particular focus on SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, specifically major cloud providers.
  5. Support and guide other teams in the organization on cybersecurity best practices, security vulnerabilities, and implementation/enforcement of compensating controls.
  6. Assist with creating security designs and configure security controls within the cybersecurity portfolio.
  7. Support activities to ensure that risk and controls are in compliance with regulatory requirements and remain in line with company risk appetite.
  8. Drive security awareness and adoption across the organization and handle other related responsibilities.
  9. Use metrics to track security risks and awareness.
  10. Ensure compliance and governance for data security.
  11. Possess expert knowledge in cybersecurity in the financial services industry to provide guidance on business operations, policies, and practices. Involved in or respond to information security incidents as needed.
  12. Collaborate with colleagues and departments in the information security field to ensure timely responses to inquiries from stakeholders, customers, or authorities. Provide management reports.
Requirements:
  1. Fifteen (18) or more years of cybersecurity and technology risk experience in a large MNC.
  2. Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in cybersecurity program management & governance, including technical background (networks, servers, encryption, application security, infosec tool, etc.).
  3. Identifying information security and emerging technological requirements and effective risk mitigation actions.
  4. Possesses progressive experience in leading multiple projects in a complex international financial services organization, preferably Financial Technology.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence multiple stakeholders, driving positive changes through awareness, understanding, acceptance, and commitment to relevant information security topics.
  6. Influential communicator capable of effectively communicating ideas and concepts within the organization, and externally with clients, auditors, and suppliers, and leadership.
  7. Excellent customer management skills with min ten (10) years of experience with managing large enterprise customers preferably from financial services industry.
  8. Highly responsive and proactive. Self-motivated with a positive 'can do' attitude, working cooperatively to achieve results.
  9. A minimum of fifteen (15) years of hands-on experience with multiple security disciplines preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Preferred industry certifications are: CISM, CISSP.
  2. Relevant professional certification, such as CISSP, CEH, CRISC, CGEIT.
  3. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
