Cyber Security Engineer Role Overview

This position presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to leverage their expertise in security compliance and risk management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform audits, certification programs, and control assessments, including scope planning, defining control procedures, and control testing.
  • Coordinate audit-related tasks to ensure readiness of managers and teams for audit testing and facilitate timely resolution of any findings.
  • Develop initiatives to ensure operational effectiveness with applicable laws and regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply IT-related knowledge and experience in solving compliance issues.
  • Experience implementing cloud security and compliance standards, frameworks, and controls for cloud service delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • AWS Certifications (added advantage).
  • Background in security controls, auditing, network, and system security.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the GRC Team at FICO, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational effectiveness of our organization with regards to security compliance and risk management.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of security compliance and risk management frameworks, as well as experience in performing audits and control assessments. A Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Additionally, the candidate should have demonstrated ability to apply IT-related knowledge and experience in solving compliance issues.
