About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Biology Specialist to join our team of experts who accelerate the advancement and deployment of powerful AI systems.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Biology, particularly at PhD-level, and be able to break down complex biological concepts into simple explanations.

  • As a key member of our team, you will work on projects fine-tuning large language models using strong analytical and english comprehension skills.
  • Responsibilities include designing and solving challenging biology problems to probe the limitations of large language models, developing high-quality solutions with clear and rigorous reasoning, and collaborating with LLM researchers to align problem types with evaluation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective solutions to complex biology problems.
  • Collaborate with researchers to identify areas for improvement and develop new evaluation benchmarks.
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality solutions with clear and rigorous reasoning.

Requirements:

  • A Ph.D./Postdoctoral degree in Biology or a related field is required.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills are necessary.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations is required.
  • Creative and lateral thinking abilities are essential.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary in a remote setting.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to analyze and solve complex biological problems with a structured approach.
  • Ability to explain Biology concepts clearly using simple language, visuals, and simulations when needed.
