Job Title: Senior Back End Developer

A seasoned Senior Backend Developer will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable back-end systems that support our maritime operations platform.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of backend services with frontend applications, databases, and other core systems.

  • Contribute to software architecture design and development, ensuring high-performance and maintainable solutions.
  • Take full ownership of product lifecycle from conceptualization through development and deployment.
  • Implement Test-Driven Development practices for comprehensive unit testing.
  • Build reusable code and libraries to promote efficiency and consistency across projects.
  • Continuously optimize applications for maximum performance, speed, and scalability.
  • Enforce security best practices and data protection regulations.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation for all systems and processes.

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our technology department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable back-end systems that support our maritime operations platform.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of backend services with frontend applications, databases, and other core systems. Your primary focus will be on software architecture design and development, ensuring high-performance and maintainable solutions.

As a senior developer, you will take full ownership of product lifecycle from conceptualization through development and deployment. You will also implement Test-Driven Development practices for comprehensive unit testing and build reusable code and libraries to promote efficiency and consistency across projects.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in software development, preferably in a backend role.
  • Excellent knowledge of programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture design and development principles.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
