Senior Financial Systems Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Systems Architect to drive the implementation of financial solutions for our organization.

The ideal candidate will have mastery-level competency in financial systems, with strong knowledge of cross-functional interactions and global experience in finance processes. They will be responsible for developing and enhancing financial solutions, defining scope and documenting business needs, and maintaining a strong understanding of financial best practices.

The successful candidate will lead and manage large-scale financial projects, ensuring all processes are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. They will also provide architecture and design guidance to development and functional teams, leveraging common technical elements and avoiding duplication of work.

• Financial Solution Development: Lead the creation of new financial landscapes and implement financial solutions by replacing existing non-financial systems/business needs.
• Financial Process Design: Ensure best practice design and implementation of financial solutions, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure. Adhere to financial architectural standards and best practices, promoting the adoption of financial systems with innovative solutions to improve business processes.
• Architecture and Design Guidance: Guide development and functional teams to configure and implement financial solutions according to financial standards and best practices. Leverage common technical elements and avoid duplication of work, including testing approach, data governance, and Go Live activities.
• Project Management: Lead and manage large-scale financial projects, ensuring all processes are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or equivalent in a related field to the area of responsibility
• Advanced degree preferred (MBA Finance)
• Certification in SAP: Preferred (FI/CO Module)

Experience:

Must have 10+ years of overall SAP experience with strong functional knowledge of Sales, Manufacturing or other Enterprise processes using SAP with specialization in Finance and Controlling Module
• Minimum of 7 years prior experience in managing a large-scale SAP related programs in the capacity of Module Lead.

Key Skills:

• SAP S4/Hana – At least 2-3 Implementation Projects (Green Field or Migration)
• Should have designed Finance Org Structure and delivered multi-dimensional reporting.
• Should have strong knowledge of Parallel Accounting, Transfer Pricing and Material Ledger functionality in SAP
• Knowledge of SAP FI/CO Module, Knowledge of interaction between FICO and other modules like MM, SD, PP etc.
• Global Experience in terms of Legal requirements specially Tax, Banking, Electronic Reporting
• Accounts Payable – Shared Services
• Group Reporting
• Deep knowledge of diverse areas of technology including ERP, Master Data, Electronic Banking, FSCM etc.
• Deep knowledge of SAP technical and functional architecture, data model along with new and emerging SAP capabilities.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or life science industry preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced global multinational matrix organization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence business team members / stakeholders and manage project teams.
• Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources.
• Should have designed or supported and managed ITGC tasks.
• Should have worked on electronic records submission for Finance – like GST, VAT, E Invoicing etc.
• Should have managed Internal / External Auditors for sox compliance -ITGC
