
Australian Bookkeeping Specialist

Location: Remote (Must be Able to Work Australian Business Hours)
About the Role:We Are Seeking a Highly Skilled Bookkeeper to Support Our Finance and Operations Team.
The Ideal Candidate Will Be Detail-Oriented, Accurate, Sharp, Proactive, and Resourceful, with Strong Knowledge of Australian Bookkeeping, Accounting Standards, and Taxation Rules.
Key Responsibilities Include Managing Day-to-Day Bookkeeping, Preparing and Maintaining Accurate Financial Records, Assisting with BAS, GST, and Other Tax-Related Filings, Processing Payroll and Superannuation Contributions, and Supporting Month-End and Year-End Closing Activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 Years of Bookkeeping/Accounting Experience (Australian Clients or Companies Preferred)
- Strong Working Knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB
- Solid Understanding of BAS, GST, Superannuation, and Other Australian Compliance Requirements
- Fluent English (Written and Verbal), Clear, Professional, and Confident Communicator
Preferred Qualifications Include Previous Experience Working with Australian Businesses, Certification in Bookkeeping or Accounting, and Strong Excel and Reporting Skills.
