About This Role

Develop and manage a comprehensive application security program, including tooling, assessments, and issue resolution.

Integrate security into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and collaborate with development teams.

Provide security training for developers, project managers, and product managers to enhance their understanding of secure coding practices.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess and resolve security issues within release cycles, ensuring the delivery of secure software products.

Support industry-standard security certifications like ISO 27001, SOC 2, Common Criteria (CC), and Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) for our products.

Conduct thorough risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and threat modeling to identify potential security risks.

Review application design and architecture for security and compliance, ensuring that they align with our organizational standards.

We require expertise in web, mobile, and API security, with a strong understanding of security-by-design principles. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Bash, and Perl is also essential for security scripting.

A solid foundation in network security and secure coding practices is necessary, along with 3+ years of experience in source code review and utilizing static and dynamic analysis tools.

Hands-on experience with security tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, SonarQube, Snyk, Checkmarx, and vulnerability scanners like Nessus and OpenVAS is required.

Familiarity with Metasploit for penetration testing is also essential.

Experience in security architecture reviews and enforcing secure coding guidelines is crucial for this role.

Incident analysis, root cause analysis, and risk assessment skills are also necessary for this position.

Working knowledge of the STRIDE model and MITRE ATT&CK framework is desired but not mandatory.
