Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure operation of our computer systems, servers, and network connections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor server and firewall logs to identify potential security threats.
  • Establish and update virus scans to prevent malware infections.
  • Troubleshoot security breaches and vulnerability issues in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Conduct user activity audits to ensure compliance with industry-standard best practices.
Strategy & Planning

You will develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for system security administration and user system access.

  • Design and implement disaster recovery plans for operating systems, databases, networks, servers, and software applications.
  • Assess need for security reconfigurations and execute them as required.
Acquisition & Deployment

You will interact with vendors to obtain protection services and products.

  • Recommend and schedule security improvements, upgrades, and purchases.
Operational Management

You will deploy, manage, and maintain security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.

  • Administer and maintain end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A college diploma or university degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications in computer science.
