Procurement Expert Sought

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic procurement professional to lead our purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and sourcing, with 3–4 years of experience in the automotive ancillary sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth procurement of critical materials, driving cost efficiency, and maintaining supplier performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Source and procure raw materials, components, consumables, and tooling for manufacturing operations
  • Identify, evaluate, and on-board suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance
  • Raise and monitor purchase orders based on production schedules and inventory levels
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers
  • Track market trends and implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Coordinate with production, stores, quality, and finance teams to ensure end-to-end procurement alignment
Required Qualifications & Experience

Key qualifications and experience required for this role include:

  • Education:
  • MBA in Operations Management (Mandatory)
  • Experience:
  • 3–4 years of hands-on procurement experience in an automotive ancillary or Tier 1 supplier environment
  • Skills:
  • Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems
  • Familiarity with automotive standards and documentation
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
