As a Patient Counsellor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of patients by providing empathetic guidance on treatment procedures, packages, and post-treatment care.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to handle patient inquiries effectively, and maintain follow-ups to ensure timely decision-making and admissions.

The job requires strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments for seamless patient coordination.

You will also be responsible for achieving monthly counselling and conversion targets set by management, maintaining patient records, and supporting marketing activities to enhance patient awareness.

To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in any field, preferably healthcare or management, and proven experience in sales, customer service, or patient counselling.

Beyond that, you should possess a positive attitude, target-driven mentality, and proficiency in MS Office and hospital management software.

  • Counsel patients and their families regarding treatment procedures, packages, financials, and post-treatment care.
  • Handle patient inquiries (walk-ins, calls, and online leads) and convert them into registrations/bookings.
  • Explain treatment options and facilities in a clear and empathetic manner.
  • Maintain follow-ups with patients to ensure timely decision-making and admissions.
  • Collaborate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments for seamless patient coordination.
  • Achieve monthly counselling and conversion targets set by management.
  • Maintain patient records, counselling reports, and feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field (Healthcare/Management preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales, customer service, or patient counselling (healthcare/hospital background preferred).
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
  • Target-driven with a positive and empathetic attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hospital management software (preferred).
