Transaction Monitoring/AML Analyst

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team in Bangalore, responsible for monitoring and analyzing transactions to identify potential AML risks.

About the Role:

This is a key position that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in KYC sanctions screening with a proven track record of identifying high-risk scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transaction Monitoring: Conduct thorough analysis of transaction data to identify suspicious activity.
  • AML Investigations: Research and investigate alerts to determine if they pose a risk to the organization.
  • Sanctions Screening: Screen individuals and entities against global sanction lists to prevent financial crime.
  • Cross-Border Transactions: Analyze cross-border transactions to identify potential money laundering risks.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on AML-related findings and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Commerce or Computer Science degree from a reputable institution.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in compliance or related field.
  • Skillset: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Languages: Proficient in MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
