Trade Specialist - Banking FinanceCompany Name Rawalwasia Textile Industries Pvt ltd Industry CoalJob Title Trade Finance SpecialistHours Full-timeLocation Surat GujaratJob PurposeThe Trade Finance Specialist manages and executes trade finance operations including contracts for front-to-back Letters of Credit LC and back-to-back LCs The role demands a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of LC transactions and expertise in structuring processing and monitoring trade finance instruments to ensure smooth and efficient international trade operations Job Duties Manage and oversee all aspects of trade finance operations specifically focusing on contracts for front-to-back LCs and back-to-back LCs Structure issue and monitor Letters of Credit ensuring compliance with national or international regulations and internal policies Provide expertise in trade finance instruments including documentary collections guarantees and trade loans Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including banks financial institutions and trade partners to facilitate seamless transactions Review and analyse contract terms to ensure they align with the companys trade finance strategy and risk management guidelines Ensure the accurate and timely processing of LC transactions and related documentation Stay updated on international trade finance regulations and industry best practices Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to trade finance operations Provide guidance and support to junior team members on trade finance processes and procedures Prepare and present reports on trade finance activities and performance to senior management Required QualificationsKnowledge Extensive knowledge of Letters of Credit including front-to-back and back-to-back LCs Understanding of international trade finance regulations standards and practices Familiarity with risk management practices in trade finance Skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organisational and time management abilities Proficiency in managing complex trade finance transactions Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders Attributes Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong ethical standards and commitment to compliance Detail-Oriented Problem-Solver Proactive and team player Adaptable Client-Focused Education Bachelors Degree in a relevant field such as Finance Accounting Masters Degree preferred but not mandatory MBA with a focus on Finance or International Business Certifications Professional Certifications optional but highly valuable Certified Documentary Credit Specialist CDCS Certified Trade Finance Professional CTFP Diploma in International Trade Finance CITF Other relevant certifications in trade finance or international banking Experience 10 to 12 years of trade finance experience focusing on managing Letters of Credit and related transactions Proficiency in trade finance software and tools Familiarity with SWIFT messaging and international payment systems Job Location The candidate should be based or willing to relocate Some travel may be required to meet with stakeholders or attend industry events Perks and Benefits Competitive Salary We offer a comprehensive benefits package including bonus leave encashment etc There are opportunities for career advancement within the organisation Ongoing training and development programs Number of Vacancies 1
