Job Summary:

This is a challenging role that will support the development of testing methodologies for critical key controls across various businesses.

The position involves assurance activities focused on resiliency and material critical control testing, with opportunities to move into other operational risk domains.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing control testing plans, as well as communicating and agreeing upon gaps in controls within our organization's risk management processes.

This role will involve collaboration with other assurance functions across multiple lines of defense.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of testing methodologies and priorities as part of the assurance planning process.
  • Plan and execute control tests, including coordinating reviews with stakeholders, managing analysts' activities, reviewing work quality, and ensuring alignment with our assurance methodology.
  • Prepare reports reflecting test results and advise business leaders on solutions and remediation activities, engaging subject matter experts to agree on action plans.
  • Present findings to senior management to gain buy-in and agreement on actions.
  • Coordinate review activities throughout the lifecycle with senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with data analytics teams to identify opportunities for converting manual testing into analytics-based testing and continuous assurance activities.
  • Support first-line teams with issue remediation and validation of evidence before closing issues.
  • Provide feedback to design and implementation teams on learnings identified during control testing.
