Key Role: Financial Strategist

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial strategist to lead our finance function.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, with expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to provide strategic financial guidance and support.
  • Build and maintain financial models that inform decision-making and optimize resource allocation.
  • Lead investor and board reporting, ensuring clear and transparent communication of financial performance.
  • Oversight of audits, compliance, and legal coordination with external partners.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6-10 years of experience in finance, preferably in startups or e-commerce.
  • Deep understanding of consumer businesses and marketplace economics.
  • Strategic finance expertise, with ability to think big and long-term.
  • Experience building financial systems and models from scratch.
  • Proven track record of working closely with founders or senior leadership teams.
