Job Title: Bioprocess Engineer

We are seeking a talented Bioprocess Engineer to join our interdisciplinary team. As a key member of our R&D and manufacturing teams, you will be responsible for the execution and analysis of research projects related to seaweed processing and extraction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve processes for new and existing products.
  • Plan and execute unit operations such as hydrolysis, extraction, evaporation, and spray drying.
  • Conduct microbial fermentation and downstream processing operations.
  • Troubleshoot process issues, optimize costs, and explore alternative process conditions.
  • Analyze data and generate reports.
  • Coordinate with third-party laboratories for services such as mass spectrometry and chromatographic techniques.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in biochemical or bioprocess engineering, or a related field, with at least 2 years of research experience.
  • Or a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering with 3-4 years of work experience in a similar area.
