Senior SAP FICO Consultant Job Description

This position involves delivering high-quality SAP Finance & Controlling solutions that align with global business processes.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and deploying SAP FICO modules in alignment with business requirements.

Key areas of responsibility include leading workshops with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications, supporting rollouts and global template deployments, working closely with other SAP functional and technical consultants, driving system enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvements, providing day-to-day L2/L3 support for SAP FICO issues, and coordinating with AMS partners if applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 12+ years of strong hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
  • At least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations, preferably including S/4HANA.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP Finance (GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, Tax, Cost Center, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing).
  • Strong integration knowledge with other modules (SD, MM, PP).
  • Proven experience in requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover, and hyper care support.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
