Role Overview

A key professional seeking to leverage expertise in health and safety management to ensure a safe working environment across multiple project sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with electrical works, hot work, height work, civil work, mechanical, and manual material handling.
  • Design and deliver effective health and safety training programs for site personnel, promoting a culture of safety awareness and responsible behavior.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted corrective actions to prevent incidents and near misses.
  • Maintain accurate records of health and safety performance, including incident reports, audits, and training data.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in power plants - switchyards, switchgears, drives, turbines, transformers, Electrical balance of Plant (EBOP).
  • Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with advanced diploma in Industrial Safety or Master's degree in Industrial Safety.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant safety software.
