We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate compliance programs and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

The successful candidate will be a key member of our Legal Department, working alongside highly skilled lawyers to provide legal & compliance solutions to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring risk and compliance issues and implementing risk mitigation/remediation solutions.
  • Providing guidance and assistance in reviewing/drafting policies, guidelines, SOPs pertaining to regulatory compliance.
  • Advising/working on issues related to data protection and privacy legislations, including the EU GDPR.
  • Supporting cyber security compliance and risk management, including advising on and reviewing disclosure requirements for regulators, interacting with external vendors, and incident response.
  • Ensuring compliance with immigration laws in EU, APAC, and MEA, including reviewing policy/guidance documents.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Law along with relevant experience as a Compliance Counsel, preferably in MNCs.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, including Data Privacy, Cyber Security, Immigration, and Mobility.
  • Independent project management skills, including stakeholder interaction.
  • Ability to manage/support review and audit exercises with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in sensitive matters.
