We are seeking a seasoned Cypress automation expert to lead test planning, execution and reporting for complex web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Automate REST APIs using Rest Assured and validate backend services.
  • Implement and maintain BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners and QA teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation with strong expertise in Cypress and Selenium.
  • Proficiency in Java, SQL and API testing.
  • Experience with MongoDB, Snowflake, Maven and Git.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and test lifecycle management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development life cycles and be able to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bamboo. They should also be proficient in Jira for defect tracking and GitHub for version control.
