Job Overview

This position involves guiding multiple teams in adopting agile processes such as Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming.

  • Agile Process Implementation: Collaborate with teams to implement agile methodologies, focusing on Lean Management principles, build-in quality, and limiting work in progress.
  • Cadence and Synchronization: Facilitate synchronization across teams to ensure individual backlogs are understood, resolved, and integrated effectively.
  • Product Backlog Health: Work closely with product management to maintain a healthy, groomed, and purged backlog.
  • Delivery Execution: Organize and accelerate related product engineering backlog items or activities across multiple teams, aligning dependent organizations and identifying blockers for smooth delivery.
  • Reporting and Control: Establish mechanisms to report out and control execution, recognizing complexity and creating predictable delivery paths for large efforts.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess product development life cycles and software development lifecycles to improve concurrent project delivery.
  • Streamlining Processes: Streamline and eliminate excess processes in the architecture, production operations environment, or business area where repeated efforts occur.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Agile Expertise: Proven experience in agile delivery using Lean Product Management, Lean Management, and DevOps practices.
  • Azure Knowledge: Familiarity with Azure and its integration into the organization's systems.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills to guide teams through complex projects.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, including Scrum, Kanban, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps.
