We are seeking a Freelance IoT Specialist to collaborate with our team on various projects.

This is a part-time opportunity that allows you to work remotely and leverage your expertise in IoT development, device management, data analytics, and integration with existing systems.

As a Freelance IoT Specialist, you will be responsible for developing scalable and secure IoT architectures, leading the design and implementation of IoT solutions, and providing technical guidance to our development teams.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in designing and implementing complex IoT solutions, expertise in IoT protocols, platforms, and frameworks, and hands-on experience with IoT device management, edge computing, and data analytics.

You should also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an IoT Solution Architect or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering successful IoT projects.

Responsibilities:

  • IoT Architecture Development: Develop scalable and secure IoT architectures that support multiple use cases.
  • IoT Solution Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of IoT solutions, including device management, data analytics, and integration with existing systems.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to our development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) as an IoT Solution Architect or similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing complex IoT solutions.
  • Skills: Expertise in IoT protocols, platforms, and frameworks, hands-on experience with IoT device management, edge computing, and data analytics, and strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their IoT services.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified IoT Specialty, Cisco IoT Certifications) preferred.
