We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Python, Pyspark and SQL to help implement an application for large retailer. This role requires a strong understanding of IoT systems, especially in Refrigeration units, HVAC systems, Controllers and sensors.

Required skills include 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, hands-on Python/PySpark coding experience, Strong Big Data experience, GCP preferred, Telemetry experience, Streaming experience with analytics and data processing, Business analytics experience and working directly with business partners to implement feedback.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

A strong understanding of IoT systems is desired, including:

  • Refrigeration units
  • HVAC systems
  • Controllers and sensors

Familiarity with equipment and systems from Emerson, Honeywell, or similar is also a plus.

Job Description: We are looking for someone skilled in backend engineering to help implement an application. Domain experience in IoT systems, HVAC/refrigeration equipment, and other mechanical solutions is highly desired.
