Transforming backend infrastructure is a critical component of our strategy to enhance user experiences and drive business growth.

As a senior developer, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling the FastAPI backend powering multi-agent workflows. Your expertise in Python/FastAPI and experience with workflow orchestration and agent systems will enable you to design robust pipelines with Temporal or similar to plan multi-step actions, handle fallbacks, and reason over user intent.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement memory and context systems for knowledge retrieval and adaptive workflows
  2. Manage authentication, user integrations, and secure credential handling
  3. Build robust error handling for both internal reasoning and external API/tool failures
  4. Owning deployment, monitoring, and scaling of backend infrastructure

Success in this role requires a strong background in backend development with Python/FastAPI, along with proven ability to design workflow orchestration and agent systems. Familiarity with Postgres and vector databases is also desirable, as is your ability to build systems for multi-step planning, minimal hallucination and graceful error recovery. Experience with multi-agent architectures and dynamic workflow generation using functional programming approaches is a plus.
