Backend Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will design and develop high-performance backend services using Node.js and its ecosystem.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Node.js, Typescript, and related tools. Experience working with monorepo setups (Turborepo, Nx) and proficiency in CI/CD workflows and tools is also required.

Above all, we need someone who can write well-documented APIs and test them using Postman and automated tools. Your task is to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while ensuring backend systems follow best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services using Node.js and frameworks like Fastify and Express.
  • Work within a monorepo architecture to ensure scalable and maintainable codebases.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Deploy and maintain infrastructure on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Write well-documented APIs and test them using Postman and automated tools.
