Job Title: Executive Communications Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Executive Communications Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a monthly content calendar tailored to the Business Leader's areas of expertise, interests, and business updates.

They will align content themes with current trends, industry news, company milestones, and leadership values.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional copywriting skills tailored for leadership tone and business storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop a monthly content calendar aligned with the Business Leader's goals and objectives.
    • Research and pitch content ideas (articles, posts, videos) in sync with the leader's tone and goals.
  • Content Creation & Publishing:
    • Write high-quality, engaging content including posts, tweets, articles, thought leadership blogs, short videos, and story captions.
    • Create impactful carousels, infographics, and quotes that resonate with target audiences (decision-makers, industry professionals, etc.).
  • Social Media Management:
    • Manage Business Leader's social media presence on X, Twitter, Instagram, Threads, and other relevant platforms.
    • Post content, schedule updates, monitor engagement, and respond to comments/messages as needed.
    • Track content performance metrics and suggest optimizations.
  • Personal Brand Growth:
    • Ensure consistent tone, style, and branding across all platforms.
    • Grow Business Leader's following organically using content hooks, engagement strategies, and relevant hashtags.
  • Research & Thought Leadership:
    • Conduct industry research and competitor benchmarking for better positioning of the Business Leaders.
    • Identify speaking opportunities, collaborations, and panel features aligned with Business Leader branding.
  • Executive Support & Confidentiality:
    • Coordinate closely with the Business Leader's office for approvals and internal alignment.
    • Handle all content and communication with discretion, ensuring brand integrity and privacy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in personal branding, executive communications, or social media marketing.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills tailored for leadership tone and business storytelling.
  • Proficiency with social media scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Creator Studio, etc.).
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Insights, X analytics, Instagram Insights).

Business Leaders includes CEOs, founders, directors, or department heads, entrepreneurs, founders, C-Suite etc.
