Financial Statement Specialist

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Statement Specialist to perform daily, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement functions.
  • The successful candidate will coordinate with internal and external teams to complete various tasks and ensure timely and accurate resolution of financial discrepancies.
  • This role involves acting as the primary reviewer and quality assurance of deliverables produced by the team, including calculation, booking and reviewing of deal-wise fees.
  • The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of various applications used for task completion and be able to perform root cause analysis of problems.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as the successful candidate will need to participate in calls/meetings with clients and team members to set expectations and document understanding gaps.
  • We value process efficiency and client satisfaction, so the selected candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure all deliverables are achieved as per defined timelines and expected quality.
  • In addition, the Financial Statement Specialist will be responsible for keeping clients informed about delays and providing a plan of action, while ensuring all deliverables meet the required standards.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform financial statement preparation and review
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to complete tasks
  • Ensure timely and accurate resolution of financial discrepancies
  • Act as primary reviewer and quality assurance of deliverables
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of various applications used for task completion

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 3+ years of experience in financial statement preparation and review
  • Proficiency in various accounting software and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
