Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and develop precision electromechanical systems, including scientific instruments and automation.

The successful candidate will work on full-stack instrumentation where optics, electronics, mechanics, and software meet. They will be responsible for owning the mechanical architecture of our instrument, ensuring it is compact, vacuum-tight, and reliable.

This role involves designing for speed, stability, and serviceability, developing the assembly and test playbook, and leading system-level integration balancing multiple needs.

  • Design and develop precision electromechanical systems, including scientific instruments and automation.
  • Work with vacuum practice, precision motion, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and design for manufacturability.
  • Solve problems hands-on and ensure ergonomics and field-service are considered.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
