Key Responsibilities
  1. Incident Management: Execute on Incident, Change Management, Problem Management processes to ensure minimal disruption to our services.
  2. Application Development: Build and support a reliable application suite for the environment to meet development and maintenance requirements of systems/platforms.
  3. Technical Support: Provide consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and systems programming.
  4. Platform Performance: Ensure platform performance and availability meet enterprise objectives through monitoring, timely service restoration, and tuning.
  5. Automation: Constantly work to improve and implement automation of applications tasks.
  6. Systems Programming: Provide technical support for systems/platforms according to application SLA's.
  7. Resiliency Design: Responsible for designing and developing resiliency in the application code, troubleshooting incidents, engaging with squads to address failure patterns, and participating in incident management.
  8. Troubleshooting: Strong Troubleshooting ability required to quickly identify and resolve issues.
  9. Communication: Lead calls or contribute in a logical fashion to resolve issues before they become incidents.
  10. Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis to quickly recover from service interruptions, and to prevent recurring problems.
  11. Monitoring and Tuning: Monitor, manage, and tune platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved.
  12. Gap Identification: Identify gaps in monitoring or documentation and reach out to appropriate teams to fill those gaps.
  13. Change Implementation: Implement changes to platforms with minimal impact to the business by following enterprise standards and procedures.
  14. Standardization: Design and document enterprise standards and procedures.
