Cloud Solutions Architect

In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and implement cloud-based solutions for our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop innovative solutions using public and private cloud platforms.

Your responsibilities will include designing novel architectures that meet business requirements, working with security teams to ensure compliance, and constructing infrastructure as code routines that automate cloud services configuration.

You will also support legacy environments while migrating teams to cloud adoption and DevOps practices.

Key Requirements:

  • A curious and passionate individual with a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar quantitative field
  • Experience writing scripts and/or APIs in modern languages (Python, Go, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Familiarity with delivering solutions in one or more public clouds (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • Familiarity with fundamental cloud, security, networking, and distributed computing environment concepts
  • Familiarity administering platforms (Apache, Atlassian Bamboo, Boomi, Cloud Foundry, Harbor, RabbitMQ, Tomcat)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience providing services as a platform to enable other teams to build from
  • Experience with monitoring and writing self-healing routines to ensure platform uptime
  • Experience supporting applications in an enterprise environment on both Linux and Windows
  • Experience working in an Agile sprint-based environment
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes administration
