Senior Data Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead our data engineering team in developing and maintaining scalable data platforms.

The successful candidate will have expertise in data architecture, cloud platforms, big data technologies, and leadership skills. They will be responsible for leading research, proof of concept, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement modular, flexible, secure, and reliable data systems that scale with business needs
  • Integrate pipeline observability to detect and resolve issues proactively
  • Develop tools and processes to debug, optimize, and maintain production systems
  • Identify and address legacy inefficiencies to improve performance and maintainability
  • Quickly diagnose and resolve unknown issues across complex systems
  • Maintain clear documentation of data models, transformations, and pipelines to ensure security and governance compliance

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
  • Strong technical skills in areas like data architecture, ETL, cloud platforms, and big data technologies
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage and mentor a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, and Snowflake

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in languages like Python, SQL, and Scala for data processing and pipeline development
  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices for efficient deployment and management

Sr. Platform Engineer / Cloud Engineer Role

  • 5+ Years of experience in infrastructure through code using Terraform
