Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, particularly using Java and Selenium, and possess experience in API testing and web application testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products.

Key Responsibilities :

  • 3.5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
  • Conduct thorough testing of web applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Perform API testing to validate the integrity and reliability of backend services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide input on testing strategies.
  • Analyze test results, report defects, and track them to resolution.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in automation testing using Java and Selenium.
  • Strong understanding of API testing (REST/SOAP) and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Experience in web application testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
