Job Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Engineer in Test at Precize Inc. We are seeking a candidate with 3 to 5 years of experience. The Software Engineer in Test will be responsible for designing and implementing software tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, and working closely with software developers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Your Role and Responsibilities :

1. Manual Testing :

- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and design specifications.

- Execute manual test cases to identify defects, inconsistencies, and issues in software functionality.

- Report and track defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

- Perform regression testing to ensure that software updates do not introduce new bugs.

- Good understanding of the SDLC & experience of working with Agile model.

2. Automation Testing :

- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and programming languages (e.g., Selenium, PyTest and Python).

- Identify areas for test automation and collaborate with the development team to implement automation testing strategies.

- Execute and maintain automated test suites to improve test coverage and efficiency.

- Analyse test results and report on the status of automated tests.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field

- Experience in Quality Assurance (Both manual and Automation)

- Experience with modern software development methodologies, tools, and frameworks (Ex : PyTest , Selenium and programming language : Python)

- Knowledge of Cloud is a big plus mainly AWS, GCP and Azure, as well as Enterprise SaaS

- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to work independently and meet deliverable timelines

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Experience in agile software development.
