Job Title:

The Blue Team Leader plays a critical role in maintaining the organization's security posture and minimizing the impact of cyberattacks.

About this Role

This position involves leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing blue team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance and collaboration.
  • Incident Response Management: Oversee the incident response process from initial detection and analysis to containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • Security Monitoring & Analysis: Manage and maintain security monitoring tools and systems (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).
  • Threat Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with the latest threat intelligence, attack techniques, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Security Tooling & Infrastructure: Evaluate, implement, and manage security tools and technologies to improve the organization's defenses.
  • Vulnerability Management: Collaborate with vulnerability management teams to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
  • Security Awareness Training: Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training programs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other security teams and business stakeholders.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and actionable reports.
Qualifications
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in security operations, incident response, and security analysis is required.
  • Technical Skills: A deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, security tools, and incident response procedures is essential.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are necessary for success in this role.
