Project Lead

The Project Lead will oversee the Chemicals and Materials Practice within the Advisory division. This practice focuses on market assessment, market-entry, analysis of distribution channels, due diligence and acquisition screening, identification of unmet needs, as well as customer perception, retention, and satisfaction globally.

This role requires a highly motivated individual to guide research processes and deliverables of proprietary projects, oversee efforts of individuals conducting research, and write reports. The Project Lead will work with senior management to develop/refine the scope of studies, scheduling, budget, and client deliverables.

Key responsibilities include driving staff performance to successful completion of studies, assuring content and quality of studies, writing/reviewing reports for proprietary studies, working with project teams to conduct analysis, develop appraisal and recommendations, and prepare presentations and supporting documentation.

The Project Lead will present findings of projects to clients and from time to time conduct selected primary interviews to obtain critical insights and information. Additionally, this role involves assisting with growth and development of practices, working with Directors and VPs to develop/refine proposals in response to client requests, maintaining and developing client relationships, and identifying enhancements to project deliverables and work processes.

Requirements include 8+ years of experience in consulting in the chemical industry, experience developing, managing, and presenting project results to senior management, analytical, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, ability to manage, mentor, and motivate in a team environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
