Job Title: Director of Engineering for E-Commerce Domain

At our organization, we are building a state-of-the-art India Development Center from the ground up. As the Director of Engineering for the E-Commerce domain, you will spearhead this initiative and own the architecture and technical strategy for scalable e-commerce platforms serving both B2B and B2C customers.

This role requires guiding architectural decisions and leading engineering excellence across the board. You must have a strong background in the Ecommerce domain with at least 12 years of experience in Software engineering and 5-6 years of experience handling teams of 30+.

The ideal candidate should be able to guide teams in building performant, secure, and modular systems for web and mobile applications. They must also collaborate with global product and design teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.

We are looking for someone with a strong grasp of platform architecture, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native development. If you have experience working in the Ecommerce domain for the last 5-6 years across web and mobile applications for B2B and B2C customers, we would like to hear from you.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 14-18 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Ecommerce domain
  • At least 12 years of experience in team leadership or management
  • Strong understanding of platform architecture, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native development
  • Experience working with global product and design teams
